Review: Tiff Body Coffee Scrub in Butter (Original and Cinnamon) | Gin and Glow

Tiff Body is Indonesia's very own Frank Body, I remember their first products were coffee scrubs in pouches, but as time goes by, they replaced their generic coffee scrub with Coffee Scrub in Butter.

I bet you're curious what's the difference, well, regular coffee scrubs are quite rough and pretty loose and they can get messy when applied. Tiff Body's Coffee Scrub in Butter is just like your regular coffee scrub but with shea butter added. If you're interested in the review, keep reading!

Unlike their previous coffee scrub (in the bag), the Coffee Scrub in Butter comes in a sealed plastic jar. Due to the shea butter content, the texture is easier to apply compared to regular coffee scrub, it's also less messy.

I find this product just as effective as regular coffee scrubs, however there is one thing I find odd, this is a coffee scrub, but it doesn't exactly smell like coffee, I'm not sure why. Maybe because of the shea butter?

I have tried other coffee scrubs like Frank Body and C Lab and Co, both of them are regular loose coffee scrubs, despite having scents like cacao, coconut or anything else, they still have that invigorating coffee scent.

Aside from the scent, I do enjoy this body scrub due to the results and the ease of use. If you're concerned about the mess or about clogged shower, I would recommend this one. However, if you want the OG coffee scrub and the smell of coffee, I'd say find another alternative.

Since it has shea butter, it's very easy to spread and to scrub away dead skin cells. It's not greasy or sticky, but it leaves my skin soft and moisturized (maybe because of the oils and butter in it). The jar is pretty huge, although I finish it pretty fast. It's not overpriced, but it's also not very affordable, I think the price point is okay. I've finished my Original version and I'm now using this cinnamon one. I found out that the cinnamon one smells nicer, maybe because of the cinnamon in it.

Tiff Body's Coffee Scrub in Butter can also be used on your face, but I personally use it on my body only. Have you tried this product? What do you think?
